About:
Jean Gabriel Raveney is a student at the Austin Grad School of Theology, and the University of Texas at Austin (where he majors in Philosophy, with a minor in Ancient Greek).
His scholastic interests range over epistemology, the philosophy of science, metaphysics, and logic. He plans to remain in academia to pursue a doctorate in philosophy, after which he hopes to continue teaching as a profession.
Jean shares dual citizenship with France (from his Father), and so reflects this with a very French name (pronounced like "Sean" but with a "J"), but he also responds to his middle name, "Gabe," to friends and family (and pretty much anyone who can't pronounce Jean).
Other than reading, studying, and eating (he's a huge aficionado for books—and food!), he enjoys spending time playing with his son (Winston) and doing activities with him such as: hiking, camping, fishing, boating, and playing soccer or swimming. He is married to a wonderful woman, Christina, who is also in school, pursuing a degree in marketing/business.
